Install RemitPH

Put RemitPH on your home screen, dock or app list for one-tap access in its own window. It’s the same free website: no app store, no account and nothing to pay. Latest rates, fees, gold prices and comparisons always need an internet connection.

Checking this browser…

Android

  1. Open remitph.com in Chrome.
  2. Tap the menu ⋮ at the top right.
  3. Tap Add to home screen, then Install. Some versions show Install app directly.
  4. Open RemitPH from your home screen or app drawer.
  • Samsung Internet: tap the install icon in the address bar, or menu ≡ → Add page to → Home screen.
  • Edge and other Chromium browsers have a similar option in their menu. If you don’t see one, use Chrome.
  • Opened RemitPH from Facebook, Instagram or TikTok? Open it in Chrome first; in-app browsers can’t install.

iPhone & iPad

  1. Open remitph.com in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (a square with an up arrow). On iPhone it’s at the bottom, or inside the ⋯ menu; on iPad it’s at the top right.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. If it isn’t listed, tap More or Edit Actions to find it.
  4. If you see Open as Web App, leave it on. Tap Add.
  • iPhone and iPad don’t show an automatic install button. These steps are the only way.
  • Recent iOS versions also offer Add to Home Screen from Chrome and Edge’s Share menu. Safari is the most reliable.

Computer

  1. Open remitph.com in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Click the install icon at the right of the address bar (a screen with a down arrow).
  3. Click Install. RemitPH opens in its own window and appears with your apps.
  • No icon? Chrome: menu ⋮ → Cast, save and share → Install page as app. Edge: menu ⋯ → Apps → Install this site as an app.
  • Safari on a Mac (macOS Sonoma or later): File → Add to Dock.
  • Firefox doesn’t install websites as apps. Keep using RemitPH in a browser tab; nothing is missing.

What to expect

  • Internet needed for rates. Rates, fees, gold prices and comparisons are loaded fresh each time. Offline, RemitPH shows an offline page instead of old figures.
  • Saved data is labelled. If your connection drops while a page is open, what’s on screen is marked as saved earlier and not live, and providers aren’t ranked until fresh data loads.
  • Updates are automatic. When a new version is ready, you’ll see a Reload button. Nothing restarts without you.
  • No notifications and no account. Installing doesn’t give RemitPH access to anything new on your device.
  • To remove it, delete or uninstall it like any other app. Your browser keeps working as before.
