Frequently asked questions

Will I receive the Google exchange rate?

Usually not. Google shows a market reference rate. Banks, exchange houses and apps set their own AED to PHP rate and may add fees, so each row shows how far the provider’s rate is from the Google rate.

What does the amount I enter mean?

It is your total sending budget in AED, including the sender fees we know about. We work out what fits inside that total and show the estimated pesos received.

How often are rates updated?

Provider rates and calculator examples are checked once a day from official public pages, and fee pages once a week. Every figure shows when it was checked. If a check fails, the older figure stays and keeps its original date.

Why does a fee show AED 0.00*?

It means the fee is unknown, not free. We show AED 0.00* only to illustrate the conversion, and those providers are listed after providers with known current fees. Check the fee with the provider.

Is the estimate a guaranteed quote?

No. These are published references from official pages, not executable quotes. Confirm the final rate, fees and delivery time with the provider before you send.

Does RemitPH send money?

No. RemitPH only compares information. You transfer directly with the provider you choose; we never handle money, accounts or recipient details.

Which payout methods can I filter by?

Bank deposit, cash pickup, GCash, Maya and home delivery, where a provider’s official page states that method for the Philippines. A provider without a stated method may still offer it.

Which providers are compared?

UAE banks, exchange houses and apps that publish a usable AED to PHP rate on an official public page. The providers page lists each one with its sources.
