Data sources
Evidence, source review and coverage limits.
Evidence types
We distinguish official public pages/APIs/documents, approved secondary sources and manually recorded official app or social evidence. Source origin, remittance-versus-indicative scope and calculation basis remain separate labels.
Review and access
Real providers start disabled and unverified. Public source access, scope, fees and reuse rights must be reviewed before inclusion. No login automation, private endpoint extraction or CAPTCHA bypass is used. A successful HTTP response alone does not establish a valid quote or permission.
How we collect
We read only public pages that anyone can open without logging in: no accounts, private APIs or CAPTCHA workarounds. Each page is checked about once a day (fee pages weekly) with a small amount of automated traffic, and only pages that the site’s robots.txt allows (last reviewed 20 October 2026). Every figure links back to its source. Gold prices are the Dubai Jewellery Group’s published suggested retail rates, read once a day directly from its public page.
Current coverage
Providers appear when an official public page gives a usable rate with known units. Rates and calculator examples are checked once a day and fee pages weekly; each figure shows its check time, scope and limitations. These are published references, not complete executable quotes, so no overall winner is declared. Failed checks preserve previously accepted data and its original age, and a notice appears if daily checks are delayed.
